Taking Control of Your Academic Profile Online (Online workshop)

When someone looks you up online, what do they see? How will future employers learn about your accomplishments? While taking inspiration from remarkable researcher profiles, this workshop is designed for graduate students across disciplines to make informed decisions about their online presence.

Learning Objectives

  1. Explore examples of outstanding researcher profiles 
  2. Understand how ORCID connects with existing publishing, granting, and profile systems
  3. Make informed decisions on the different researcher profile options out there
  4. Discuss the benefits and challenges of public and open scholarship

Facilitators: Dr. Rachel Harris is the Scholarly Publishing Librarian and Joshua Chalifour is a Digital Scholarship & Journalism and Communication Studies Librarian at Concordia.
